I started painting when I was only 5 years old. I continued cultivating creativity on canvas often till I was 22, and then “life happened” when I migrated from academic to professional life. I hardly used to sit down with a pencil and paper, to just to create something for “nothing”. I am happy that I have recognised this pattern, and inducing the pure fun of creating art back into my life again. I want to do it for myself (for my soul). I also want to do it for my little son – I want him to experience the fun of creating, and develop the mindset of an artist.
Here are few sketches that I could digitize recently. I am hoping I’ll be able to keep rolling out new creations more often.
The Lady (Pencil)
The Musician (Pencil)
The Mind (Oil)
Kid’s Cartoons (Pen)
Hope you have liked the artwork above. In coming years, I would like to deliver more creative outcomes than I have done before. I have however started clicking photos with my digital SLR to express art whenever I can (although I hate carrying a camera more than I hate anything else on this planet). Some of the photos in-fact became the inspiration behind some paintings. Here are some of my photography takes:
Keep creating, and keep cultivating the artist within you …
